1. Register your database

If you haven't done so, log in to DataGraft:


Go to the Database Management page on DataGraft:


Here you'll register the database you created using Cognitive Cloud. Click on "Register Database" and input:

  • a name for you database (which will be used to reference your database later on)
  • a database plan
  • the endpoint URL and API key and key secret you got from Cognitive Cloud


Press "REGISTER DATABASE" to complete the process.

2. Upload your data

Navigate to the "Dashboard" tab to see your assets:


Go to "Create assets" to add a new one. Choose "SPARQL endpoint page":


A new asset has been created. Let's populate it with your data.


Upload your data:


Is it already clean and in RDF? Then jump to Step 4. Otherwise, you'll need to use DataGraft to transform and clean it.

3. Transform your data to RDF

Press the "NEXT: CLEANUP AND TRANSFORM FILE" button to process the raw file:


Open the "CHOOSE EXISTING TRANSFORMATION" tab to transform your data, or open the "CREATE A NEW TRANSFORMATION" if there is no transformation that suits your needs:


Clean and transform your data as needed:


Generate linked data:


Submit your transformation and mapping by pressing "NEXT". Select the results and add them to the SPARQL endpoint:


Your data is now in our platform.

4. Create an endpoint to serve your data

Enter SPARQL endpoint details (remembering to select the database you registered at the end of Step 1):


Press "SAVE AND SHOW ENDPOINT PAGE" to create an endpoint:


You have created an endpoint to reach your data.

5. Create a query to retrieve your data

Go to "Dashboard" -> "CREATE ASSETS" -> "SPARQL query" and enter SPARQL query details:


and the query itself:


Now you have a query that can be used to publish your data.
